Okay, so another season was finished, we have to wait half a year for the next one, blah blah blah.

Honestly, I don't know what to write about this episode, it was good, the songs were spectacular and they finally mentioned the expression "alicorn" and everything was supposed to be either on the one side or the other.

I expected myself to either burst in joy or became enraged with the fact that Twilight became an alicorn. My reaction was something I'd have never expected myself to have.

I just don't care. I really had no reaction whatsoever. I was ready to be furious of the mlp universe wrecking their own lore or the fact that they made a fun and loving character overpowered, but I really just lost interest in having any reaction towards the fanbase.

I don't know why I really stopped caring. My theory is because of the crystal empire. The crystal empire story is an episode I always wanted to be made. Dark storyline, psychological torture, a threatening villain and a more serious setting. When I finally saw it, it was kinda boring and disappointing. Now, if a story that had anything I wanted failed to impress me, it probably made me lose all the interest in the show itself.

In conclusion, it's a good episode, apparently. The songs were great, the animation even better, but the ending itself was a crappy proof of the fanbase's disappointment. Who knows, this might be the downfall of my likeness of the show.

My reaction was very much the same. The music was the best part. I feel there was much more emotion put into the songs than the other episodes. Im still sketchy about the whole Ali-Twilight thing. I trust the writers....I just don't trust Hasbro making these ridiculous calls and forcing it on the writers. Although what killed the episode for me was Sombra didn't return...which was to be expected. Since everyone hated him for being such a stereotype villain I HIGHLY doubt he will return in the next season (most expendable villain ever X3)

Over-all that episode was.....MEH :/
